Paul Gottfried in Defence of Inequality and Hierarchy

Gentle Readers–

In these Decadent Times when Jacobin and Levelling ideas dominate there are still a few people prepared to stand up for the old truths regarding human nature (namely the need for hierarchy due to the inequality of Man) and risk opprobrium. One such hero is Paul Gottfried. This picture is taken from The Rebellion Blog which also has a link to a video lecture where he puts forward some rather challenging ideas.

Mild Colonial Boy, Esq.

  1. [...] “What puts you on the Right is you oppose the belief in human equality . . . you believe that by nature human beings are unequal and if you are traditional conservative you defend hierarchy as better than its alternatives. And in any case you oppose any state attempt to level down differences.” [...]

I thought this was a great talk by Dr. Gottfried. You might find this interesting:

Look at the stupid kids complain about Gottfried! Hah. I love how it’s perfectly divided between ‘he’s mean and it’s too hard!’ and ‘he’s the most brilliant professor ever’. This is why poltroons need to not go to college.

  3. Thank you for the link. I particularly like the way that those who criticise Dr Gottfried frequently have spelling mistakes in their submission. That fills me with confidence.
